Jump!!!

One night, a couple of years back, I was driving to the factory where I worked to start another lengthy night shift. While driving I was looking at my life and wondering how I ever got to this place. My whole life I had been a dreamer and had always had massive plans for the future, I wanted to be a rich businessman that did world wide deals with large companies. I would have the biggest house and the best cars, a beautiful wife and kids. But here I was on my way to a job that I dreaded at a time when normal people already were fast asleep.

I started asking myself, Is this what life is going to be? Going to work, eating, going home, eating, sleeping and going to work again, Was this all life had in store for me? Was I going to do this for the rest of my life?

I could not believe that life had so little in store for us humans. There had to be more to life! More Joy, Love, and excitement... There had to be something that made life worthwhile.

And all of a sudden out of nowhere my journey of change started.. I had enough of living a mediocre life. I had begun to realize that nowhere in my life was I living out my passion, Jeez, I did not even know what my passions where. Did I like traveling, did I like adventure or nature? What was it that made me come alive. What made me Jump on the inside? I started doing things I had never done before, Threw myself out of my comfort zone in so many areas and went on an intentional mission to completely change my life. Off course I had also given my life to Jesus because the old way of trying everything on my own never worked. My life had made a very quick and sudden turn for the better.

On this journey I discovered that I have a massive gift to work with people. In retrospect I looked at my natural talents, My life experience and my gifts and with the experience of engaging with individuals and groups in increasing measure I really found what my passion is. I love to see people thrive, I love to bring someone an encouraging word or to destroy a lie that they have believed for many years and to see them break down in tears as the good news touches their heart. I love to talk to a crowd and to hear that someone in the audience experienced a profound moment of clarity and my message impacted their life. I had discovered my passion, something I would do that gave me ultimate fulfillment in life and that could help me reach my potential while changing the world. The passion I discovered is worth so much more than the money, cars and power I always dreamed of. I had found that thing that made me JUMP on the inside! And while I am still on this journey of discovery, I keep on seeing other passions I never thought I had.

What a way to live! I had found my passion and started making a career out of it.
